I always loved writing and getting postcards. I'm still very much a paper person!
About two years ago, I was taking a ride in my little black car when I heard someone mention a site called "postcrossing.com" on the radio. Postcrossing is about writing postcards to people from all over the world and in return, you'll get postcards from people from all over the world. You just create an online account, which is absolutely free, and Postcrossing will give you an address of someone to write to. Vice versa, your address is given to someone else. The only costs you have are for the postcard itself and for the postage, and I think it's really worth the effort. An old tradition stays alive, and a bit of international understanding can't do no harm either...
Plus, it can really make your day when you find a nice card in your mailbox, apart from all the invoices and junk mail!
